Pleasant Int'l Student Orientation~

The info they provided were sufficient enough for me, and I did meet some interesting people in the event. The most interesting person I met was Robert from the Netherlands, who I actually met several days ago when I went for TB Test in the NU Health Service Center. After some great talks and the good food/drinks provided by the NU International Office, we found out one amazing thing that we had in common- we could talk in THREE languages with each other, hahahaha~ which are-
  • English, (both are comfortable)
  • Japanese, (me for 3 years learning, him for around 2 years)
(Our "hometown" in Japan: me-Nagoya, him-Osaka)
  • German! (very poor in my side, but he's comfortable with it~)
Don't you think it interesting? A Dutch and a Taiwanese could talk in three languages which are NOT their mother tongues at all~

I liked the orientation and the reception, and I liked the walk home- though it was dark. When people got some company, night walks could be pleasant~
